Message from the President

Yabuta Kikai was founded in 1969 at Nishi-Ku Osaka as a sales company of YABUTA Squeezing Filter Press made by Yabuta Industries.YABUTA Squeezing Filter Press was developed in 1963 for Sake mash squeezing, and soon be obtained a high market share because it’s excellent performances of low dewaterbility in mash filtration and squeezing ware highly evaluated.

In those days even though this squeezing technology of dehydration up to the last minute was not popular, we have been actively making effort to cultivate markets such as food, pharmacy, and water treatment.

Our challenge has not only upgraded the efficiency of liquid and solid separation dramatically in many industries in Japan and overseas countries, but also contributed a lot to improve the environment of production site by our non-leak filters.

With the support and encouragement of many customers and distributors, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of founding of Yabuta Kikai Co., Ltd in 2019.

Going forward, with a stable management background and also zeal and effort by each staff, we will keep supplying our products and services which can make customer’s satisfactory and reliable.

Corporate History

1969	Founded as “Yabuta Kikai Co., Ltd” at 1-1 Tosabori, Nishi-Ku, Osaka. Head office opened at Shin Kohsan Building, 2-107, Utsubohonmachi, Nishi-Ku, Osaka. Sales of Squeezing Filter for Smooth Bean Paste dehydration process started.
1970	Sales of Squeezing Filter for Enzyme production process started. Sales of Squeezing Filter for Waste water treatment started.
1980	Sales of Squeezing Full Automatic Filter, type of driving filter cloth “YAFⅠ” started. Sales of Squeezing Filter for Agar-Agar dehydration process started.
1982	Sales of Squeezing Full Automatic Filter, type of vibrating filter cloth “YAFⅡ“ started.
1983	Tokyo sales office opened on 3-9-2, Ogawamachi, Kanda, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo.
1987	Exported High Pressure Squeezing Filter for Vegetable Oil fractionation to Singaporean company.
1988	Sales of High-Pressure Squeezing Filter for Pigment production process started. Exported Squeezing Filter for Agar-Agar dehydration process to Sakhalin company. Exported High-Pressure Squeezing Filter for Vegetable Oil fractionation to Malaysian company.
1989	Exported Squeezing Filter for Agar-Agar dehydration process to an Indonesian company.
1990	Head office relocated to 1-13-36, Nishihonmachi, Nishi-Ku, Osaka.
1992	Increase capital to 10 million yen. Exported Squeezing Filter to Seasoning production company in Taiwan.
1993	Exported Squeezing Filter to Seasoning production company in Vietnam.
2000	Exported Vacuum Distillation Equipment to Pharmaceutical company in Taiwan.
2001	Change of accounting period from December to June.
2002	Purchase a condominium for singles at Higashinari-Ku, Osaka.
2004	Head office relocated to 4-3-4, Bingomachi, Chuou-Ku, Osaka. (Commercial building owned by Yabuta Industries) Sales of High-Pressure Filter for Optical film production process started.
2006	Sales of Jacket equipped High-Pressure Filter for Carbon fiber production process started.
2013	Tokyo sales office relocated to 2-12-2, Iwamotocho, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo.
2019	50th anniversary of foundation.
